Assistive Touch, also known as the Virtual Home key, is a familiar and important key to iPhone / iPad users, as it can replace physical keys. However, there will be many times we feel bothered because when the virtual Home key obscures the content on the screen, it takes up the content display even if it has been switched to sleep mode.
If your iPhone or iPad device is already on iOS 11, things will become much simpler, when you have added the transparency feature to the virtual Home key. You can even adjust the transparency to the maximum, no longer see anything while in sleep mode. If you feel uncomfortable because of this problem, you can refer to the article reducing the level of virtual Home button on iPhone running iOS 11 in the article below.
How to adjust the virtual Home button on iPhone
Step 1:
First of all, at the selected device interface on the Settings icon. Next click on General settings.
Step 2:
Select Accessibility and select Assistive Touch.
Step 3:
In the Assistive Touch interface, click on the Opacity when not in use. A horizontal bar adjusts the display level for the virtual Home key. You adjust the transparency levels of the virtual Home button as you like, by moving the white cursor to the right or to the left. The more the cursor goes to the right, the higher the definition of the Home key. Conversely, when the cursor is left, or even down to the lowest 15%, the virtual Home button is completely blurred, almost invisible.
Adjusting the transparency of the Virtual Home key on iOS 11 helps users to see the entire content on the screen, without having to move the virtual Home button to different locations. You can adjust the transparency to almost invisible, when adjusting to the lowest percentage.
