How to add podcasts manually to Apple Podcasts, Pocket Casts, Overcast, Downcast, and Castro

When you don't find your favorite podcasts in iOS Podcasts application, you can manually add them to Podcasts manually.

Apple is quite strict with the content available in its original applications. Besides, other podcast apps can skip certain podcasts. For that reason, iOS users may want to add their own favorite podcasts to these music applications.

How to manually add podcasts to Apple Podcasts on iPhone, iPad

1. Open the Podcast application on the home screen.
2. Click Library at the bottom of the screen.
3. Select Edit at the top right of your screen.
4. Nhấn Add a Podcast by URL.
5. Paste the URL into the frame.
6. Click Subscribe.

How to add manual podcasts to Pocket Casts on iPhone and iPad

1. Open Pocket Casts app from the main screen.
2. Click Discover.
3. Enter the URL in the search bar.
4. Click the Search button.
5. Click on the podcast.

How to add manual podcasts to Overcast on iPhone, iPad

1. Open the Overcast app from the main screen.
2. Click Add Podcast.
3. Click Add URL at the top right of the screen.
4. Enter the podcast URL you want to add.
5. Click Done.

1. Open the Downcast application from the main screen.
2. Click add at the bottom of the screen.
3. Chọn Add Podcast Manually.
4. Enter the URL in the FEED OR OPML ADDRESS field.
5. Click Done.

1. Open the Castro application from the Home screen.
2. Click the search button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
3. Click on the search bar.
4. Paste the podcast URL you want to add.
